“If you’re not here for resupplying, I’ll eat my hat.”

“If you’re not here for resupplying, I’ll eat my hat.”

Welcome to Pudding, my small boat with true blue sails.

He was floating bravely on the choppy sea as he led me to the Isles of Idioms to look for evidence. Only me and my dog Salt were on the boat. I was sailing on the choppy sea, Xian listened to my twists and turns and understood my heart with his sad eyes. You are here too, although you know little, you exist only in the corners of my dreams.
I paint a picture of these waters and the islands they live on. I'm good at pen and compass and I want to explain to you the contours of the shore and the shape of the waves that caress them. If I find any evidence along the way - buried in the sand, broken into a rock or hanging on an island village - I'll try to draw them for you as well, though, as you always say, I am. not good at writing I'll try though and maybe in the process you and I can come to an agreement. Maybe we can close the gap between us.
Maybe we'll meet again.

Day 8: The Hat Eater

The island rises from the sea like the captain of a long flat-bottomed ship surrounded by wedge-like rocks. As we crossed the rocks, "Pudin" wobbled and "Bratty" nearly fell off the deck, but I held the tiller steady and we landed safely on shore.

We were greeted by a man with a nice place on his head and a big hat made out of things I thought should be kept in a drawer or closet. I found some string, a pair of scissors, a bowl with a button, a birdhouse, and a dozen other things that messed with his hat. His neck is stiff and protruding, his muscles lift such a weight.
“I'll eat my hat if you can get over the rock in that filthy place,” he said as he walked towards us.

"Wait for the wave to rise before going out." I replied with a smile.

She screamed loudly and walked away.

Salt and I looked confused.

The small towns on the island have one thing that matters most: the doors and roofs are so high they look like they're three meters tall.
However, the inhabitants are not very tall, although the hats on their heads were never removed. Just like the man who greeted us, all the men, women and children wore beautiful clothes embellished with many things on their heads. Unlike the others, every word these people said seemed to bet on eating him.

"If you don't come for supplies, I'll eat my hat."

"I'll eat my hat if you don't come from Square Island."

"If your hound doesn't have scurvy, I'll eat my hat."

I wonder what you think of these people. I regret to say that I have seen some of you among them - you have always decided that their opinion is the most important.
Action is everything on this island, and the size of the hat seems to indicate the wearer's stubborn refusal to admit he was wrong, as well as confidence in his own judgment. Before I left the island, I saw a great sadness. An old man is crooked and has to eat his hat. Of course, he could not eat the giant he had assembled in his life, but he would not admit that he did not eat it. Therefore, he was sent off the island alone in a small boat.
As he disappeared into the darkness towards the broken stone, I thought of the sea between us, and the thought gripped and hurt my neck.

Day 23: All things equal

The Island of Sticks is perfectly divided and all is equal. When I boarded Pudding at the port, the port officials told me to reposition so that the distance between the end of the port and the end of my boat was the same. On the banks of the river the trees were pruned to the same height, the garden was fenced in the same area, the difference between the stakes was perfectly equal and the people were equally dissatisfied.

Their unhappiness comes from their instructions that hang on every public place and on every private door: "Do not accept short benefits."

In the business setting, the tone of the conversation is strong evidence of an interest in management strategy. In all stores, owners and customers alike feel they are doing less work, and every time it succeeds, both parties are unhappy.
The
Professional Zone is home to the offices of law firms such as Murphy & Sons, Greaves, Roger & Blackman, and many other professionals. Successful business establishments have given their clients "long-term" assurances, and judging by the marble facades and polished gold doorknobs, the owners of these offices often hold some of their own.

While having dinner with Salty, I saw a small man and a large woman, and I was very surprised because they were sick.
The restaurant attendant took the same amount of stew and placed it in the same bowl in front of them. The thin man reached for the spoon and took a spoon from the woman's plate.

Everyone knows we men eat faster, and that's great. He said as he put the spoon in his bowl.

The woman took the spoon and came back with two servings.

The man withdrew his spoon and took one from his bowl.
It's just fair.

The woman's face turned red. He emptied half of his bowl on himself.

“I just removed my roof yesterday.
"

"I gave birth to your child.

"I did my best." "..........
